Esri releases ArcGIS Pro 2.0

ArcGIS Pro 2.0, Esri’s next-generation desktop GIS, has been released and is available from My Esri. ArcGIS Pro 2.0 brings more of your highly requested workflows to the table, features new innovations not available in any other desktop GIS, and is more tightly integrated with the rest of the ArcGIS platform.

What can you do with ArcGIS Pro?

ArcGIS Pro features innovations that cannot be found in any other desktop GIS. This multiple-threaded 64-bit application is the professional, connected desktop GIS designed to help you work faster; visualize your data using 2D/3D, animations, and charts; and access resources and share your work easily.

Get Started with ArcGIS Pro

ArcGIS Pro is part of the ArcGIS Desktop software package. Users who are current on maintenance for ArcGIS Desktop, or are signed up for an ArcGIS trial, will be able to authorize ArcGIS Pro. For further information about access to ArcGIS Pro, contact us.

For ArcMap users. If you're used to working with ArcMap, you'll be familiar with many aspects of ArcGIS Pro. However, they are different applications, so there are some concepts and features that may be unfamiliar to you. This guide answers general questions and will help get you started.
